New Academic Success Coach (ASC) Training Curriculum
In collaboration with the college advising offices and campus partners, the ASC Training and Development team develops and implements comprehensive new advisor training for the UCF academic advising community.
The New Academic Success Coach Training Curriculum is a three-phase training curriculum to be completed within one year of an employee’s start date. This requirement applies to all UCF employees in the Academic Success Coaching/Advising Job Family, ASC Sub-family with a start date of January 2022 or later.
Check out the New ASC Training Curriculum handout for an outline of the three phases and the recommended timeline to complete each phase. Each phase includes a collection of required courses and additional optional training and professional development recommendations. Completion of courses in an earlier phase is NOT required to complete courses in a later phase.
The New ASC Training Curriculum is intended for Academic Success Coaching/Advisor positions in the ASC/Advising Job Family, ASC sub-family (ASC/Advisor I/II/III/IV + ASC Leadership).
