In collaboration with the college academic success coaching offices and campus partners, the ASC Training and Development team develops and implements comprehensive training and professional development for the UCF academic success coaching community. The team closely collaborates with the Student Success Technology team to offer additional training. Both of the teams reside within Student Success and Well-Being.
The following training and development opportunities are coordinated by these teams:
- New ASC Training Curriculum (required for all new Academic Success Coach positions)
- myKnight STAR Training (required for access to myKnight STAR platform by Academic Success Coaches, faculty, and other relevant campus roles)
- Ongoing and additional professional development
- Student Success Network (SSN) monthly cross campus informational sessions
